The Helper Guy
Information and Advice to all:1.  Epoch is the service provider to webmasters that bridges the gap to the customer when it comes to internet billing, account retention or cancellation.2.  Search your own records for online receipts that are for internet subscriptions that you may have subscribed to.  Since Epoch is a Third Party  ( you being party 1, the website you subscribed to being Party 2), then you wont recognize Epoch's name unless you search your email for keywords like "Epoch," the telephone number, passwords or usernames that you might commonly choose, or the words "order" or "receipt."  Epoch's website is easy to use. They are not there to hurt you. They are simply the billing agent for the website you, your partner or kids signed up for.3.  With an email address, or a username or account number or credit card number handy ( yes, the credit card number you are getting billed to), you can simply search for the account in question on Epoch's site. 4.I bet half of you will remember the website you already forgot about subscribing to just two days after you signed up for it. Simply log in to epoch's site with your credit card number ready and your email address ( the one you used to have your electronic receipt sent to you) and you will be able to find you account within 3.7 seconds unless you use dial-up. That could take 20 seconds of your time.

lonely guy
Well, I met someone on a sortof-dating site (hotornot.com).  (I'm single and heterosexual and there's nobody that i'm cheating on.)  She was signficantly younger than me so I can't say I'm entirely surprised.  Probably the bikini-clad photos were not the same person who answered my advances online.  I said yes, she said yes.  We were chatting and she wanted to switch over to a different chat system.  Then she wanted to swtich over to a video chat system, which was cool with me, but somehow there didn't seem to be any need for me to have my camera working on my computer.  She kept on directing me to different URLs to surf to.   She had 'trouble getting her video equipment working'.  She told me to go to a website, enter my CC info, but I wouldn't get charged supposedly.  At that point I made a conscious decision that I'll probably get hosed for something, hopefully not too much.  And that this woman was in the sex trade, ok, but she seemed nice anyway and it's not like bodily fluids or anything.  At some point I got transfered to a situation where 'she' said she forgot my name and she changed from a blonde to a brunette.  We're talking personalized service.   And I was sitting looking at an online strip show with a chat session with at least a half dozen other guys making raunchy comments.  Didn't seem to be interactive - basically,  a canned strip video viewed along side an audience chat session.  Live, in-person shows are more fun, and cheaper.   So upon my second month of $34.95 charges from epoch.com, I noticed, then,  I read all your comments above, and I'm putting an end to it.  Pretty embarassing; glad I wasn't like married when this happened, I woulda died.
