    I just received a call from this number. A woman who called herself Joey said she was calling for getyourdegree.net and asked me to confirm some information in order to help me in choosing a college or university. I explained that I would like to be removed from their call list and she hung up.

    i've received three calls today from this number, to my cell phone. the first one i did not answer and they did not leave a voicemail. the other two i answered and no one responded. finally found this site and called, waited through the elevator music and got through to a woman with a heavy accent, she said my name will be put on the do not call list within 24 hours and will be taken off completely within 48 hours. i assume this will work since she specifically told me this and verified my number, so i suggest everyone else does the same or you will probably keep receiving calls.

    I keep getting a call (about 15 a week) from 1-866-960-8576.  My phone is registered with the congressional "No Call List" but these call keep coming in.  Apparently no matter what you do, they are going to get away with bugging you .  We are spending billions on restarting the economy.   Let beef up the program and get rid of these companies that are thumbing their noses at our expense.

    I was getting these calls as well. I stayed on the phone with that awful music for about 3 minutes and I got to a person. Like most of the others I reached a woman with a strong accent. She gave me that spiel about removing the number in 48 hours. I had to be very firm with her because she kept asking my name so she could "verify her records." Please be aware you do NOT have to give your name or any other name to have a number put on the do not call list.

    When I answer sometimes they ask for a John, I tell them they have the wrong # and ask for my # to be removed, other times it is just dead air, when I call back I get just music.  They have called me 4 times in 3 days.
