The company is called Beautyrock Inc or BRI for short (a lady at RBC told me this). Their number that recieves incoming calls is 1-800-668-0077. Call them and tear a strip off; I did and haven't gotten a call since.

I keep getting calls from this number and other 877,888 numbers and never answer. However, isn't it up to the cell phone companies to protect their clients from telemarketers and the like? Most of us have on-line banking, so if the calls are from our financial institutions, email us! Or, better yet, leave us a message with a valid number!

They called me too, said they were calling on behalf of RBC trying to sell me identity theft protection for 8.95/month.  They then wished to confirm my identity. They asked for my Name and Address, then asked me to set up a security word. When I paused to think of a word they suggested I use my place of birth. Suspicious of this question I hung up and called my bank. They did not recognize the number or the service but thought is sounded like the info protector service they offer. The bank said that they do not call out to sell this service. I called the infor protector people who said that this is not one of their numbers. I am in the process of reporting this call to the Ontario Provincial Police.

Got a call from the number.  Received a call from it before.  No one is there when I answer.  Added it to the blackberry app to just "hang up" when the number shows on my caller ID.  God Bless Blackberry Apps!

Rang twice, I answered, they hung up. Same behaviour as with other people. They once sold their Visa insurance to my daughter, who is a student, and could never have collected (the insurance pays your bill if you become unemployed after a period of full time employment.) I persuaded her to cancel it. Probably they are trying to sell  her again, and know I am a waste of time.

I'm with Rogers in Vancouver and have gotten this number almost every single morning for a little more than a week. No voicemail, either. So three months after the last post and they're still bothering people.Ever since I got my BlackBerry in January of this year, I have been getting non-stop garbage calls. Maybe it has something to do with continuous data and signal transfers (BB and iPhones do it even while dormant)?
